Superman Origins - Does the Superman Films Standing Out From the rest of the Comic Books?

Superman is one of the most iconic superheroes ever created. Born in 1938, Superman is a secret superhero of Metropolis, Superman was given this secret identity by Clark Kent, a newspaper delivery boy. Superman's strength and durability make him a natural choice for a hero of this caliber. Superman has gone through many different changes throughout the years and is now one of the most popular comic book superheroes. Superman or Kal-El is the latest superhero to be featured in a comic book series of movies directed by Henry Cavill.

Superman

Superman's original comic book costume was simple, Asiaone consisting of a suit with no major powers. However, after many appearances, Superman was given his own unique costume in the late 1940s. Superman's secret identity was kept a secret until the mid-1960s where it was finally revealed to the world. Superman's appearance has changed over the years, from being very skinny to extremely muscular. Superman: The Movie and the Dark Knight Rises have been very popular as both of these films portray Superman as he appears in the modern-day world.

Superman's powers were strengthened during the silver age of comics. In Superman: The Movie Clark Kent used his flying ability to take his parents to safety when they were being attacked by aliens. Clark Kent used his super-speed to escape capture but was then recaptured by General Maxwell Shale. After the battle, Superman went into exile and kept his secret identity a secret. Superman returned to Metropolis and was granted his own superhero identity again. Superman's new crime-fighting identity is known as" Superman" and is more focused on defeating villains than preserving the earth.

Superman returned to the big screen in the following decades, where he starred in two more blockbuster movies known as Superman Returns and Man of Steel. In the sequel of the Man of Steel, Superman fought against supervillains for the first time where he uses his new super-strength to battle the evil villain, General Zod. Superman fought many other superheroes throughout the years including the likes of Spiderman, The Hulk, Iron Man, and The Fantastic Four. There has been some criticism from those that felt Superman was no longer fit for duty and needed to fight crime in the modern world.

Superman returned in the highly anticipated Superman film world war ii. Superman returned in the most recent installment of the Superman films, where he teamed up with the new love interest, Martha Kent. This version of Superman has received mixed reviews from critics and fans but a lot of them are happy with the direction of the movie. Some people are disappointed with the direction of world war ii but this movie did not do as bad as people had hoped it would.

The one issue people seem to be complaining about is the lack of Superman Returns information. There have been rumors and interviews regarding both the Superman origin story and the Superman films as of late. There have been very few updates regarding either the Superman films or the reoccurring television series. Some fans are simply unaware that there will be no more Superman films for quite some time. While it may not be the answer to every fan's ultimate Superman question, it does provide an explanation as to why we haven't seen much on the Superman origins.
