Which Countries Can Enter Singapore Without Quarantine?

Beginning Nov. 29, travelers from vaccinated countries from Indonesia, India, United Arab Emirates, and Qatar can enter Singapore without quarantine. This is a huge step in the country's quest to become a major global aviation hub. The new travel lane policy will help those who are fully vaccinated move past the threat posed by Covid. It's still unclear what the restrictions will be, but it does allow more people to enter the city-state.

Those travelling on a cruise ship straits can enter Singapore without quarantine if they've been vaccinated against Covid-19, a respiratory disease caused by fleas. Once the Vaccinated Travel Lane scheme is implemented, these travellers will only need two Covid-19 swab tests - the pre-departure test and the polymerarase chain reaction test - when entering Singapore. In the meantime, travelers can continue to enter and exit Singapore on their own as long as they have spent 21 days in Macao or Hong Kong, where they can follow Singapore's rules and regulations.

As of November 15, travelers from countries that are not infected with the Coronavirus will be able to enter Singapore without quarantine if they have been vaccinated. The travel ban will remain in place for all other COVID-19 measures. The vaccinated travel lane will be implemented on Sept. 26 and will allow for entry of visitors from Germany, Brunei, and Taiwan. However, travellers from Australia, Vietnam, and Hong Kong will still need to go through the strict quarantine process.

Travelers from Canada can now enter Singapore without quarantine if they are vaccinated against Covid-19. This will make the travel process easier as they will only need two Covid-19 swab tests. Currently, travellers from these countries are required to undergo the pre-departure and on-arrival polymerarase chain reaction tests for the Covid-19 virus. The new rules will apply to all passengers who are vaccinated against Covid-19 based on their 14-day travel history.

The VTL is a new scheme that will be implemented from Nov. 15. The VTL scheme also applies to those who are a Singapore citizen or permanent resident. It will eliminate the need for a Stay-Home Notice. The new VTL scheme will also allow travellers from these countries to visit Germany. While this is great news for Singapore residents, there are a few things to remember when traveling from these countries.

Currently, only Singapore nationals can enter Vietnam without quarantine. If the travel lane is implemented, then they must be vaccinated within 72 hours of leaving the country. This new rule does not apply to Singapore permanent residents. The government of Canada can't intervene in any way. For more information on the new rules, check the official website of the Singaporean Immigration Department. You can get an overview of the rules here.
